Austin Health Care for All Texas meets the last Monday of every month from 6-7:30pm at Carver Library, 1161 Angelina St., Austin, Texas

Austin HCFAT works through the following action groups to move the single payer movement forward:
Media
• The media work group sends press releases on newly released data about health reform and single payer, publicity for HCFAT events, and maintains relationships with local media.
Legislative
• The legislative work group implements our strategic plan to promote the Texas Insurance Plan in the 2009 legislative session through meetings with legislators and a current legislative study.
Grassroots
• The grassroots group expands our chapter and conducts public education by organizing rallies and presenting to various interest groups.
